A small but extremely well connected country of 11 million inhabitants, Belgium has a diverse international community with an expatriate population over 200,000 strong. Renowned for both their linguistic abilities and their welcoming nature, Belgians are able to make everyone feel at home.

The local Tervuren community is predominantly Dutch speaking, while nearby Brussels provides families with the cultural depth of a truly global city as well as excellent international transport links. All our families are supported by language learning lessons organised by our Friends of BSB organisation.
