1. Our curriculum is unique

We are the only school in Belgium to offer both A Levels and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. We also offer the IB Vocational Course.

Secondary School Students can choose from a range of options that are second to none, including creative options such as Food and Nutrition, Textiles, and Film. In Primary School, our method of teaching subjects in an interconnected way through our Integrated Learning Themes programme provides a bespoke, inquiry-based curriculum for our students.

2. All our students go on to a university of their choice

Students are given expert advice and coaching and are advised by a team of international careers teachers with truly global experience, meaning students' choices are not limited in any way.

3. Our IB Diploma results are the highest in Belgium

Our results are three times the worldwide average at the highest grades (40+) and two times the worldwide average at all other levels.

4. We are the only International School in Belgium to offer bilingual classes

We currently offer French/English bilingual classes in Primary School and are in the process of rolling out a Dutch/English bilingual programme. We are extending our bilingual programme year on year and expect French/English bilingual classes to be available to every student aged 4-14 within the next three years.

5. Our modern facilities are constantly being expanded and improved

We are committed to ongoing improvement in all areas at BSB, and our facilities are subject to regular renewal. We are about to embark upon a €20 million development project that will provide us with the best indoor sports’ facilities in Europe, including a new swimming pool, gymnasium, and cafeteria.
