We're here to make things better
Sometimes our students feel sick, hurt themselves, or simply need extra support for on‑going conditions. Our staff are here to help.
Our modern and well equipped Medical Centre features a nurse's treatment room and a rest area with beds for students to recover. Our friendly School Nurse is on hand throughout the day to treat minor injuries, attend to illnesses, administer prescribed medication, and offer support to students with on-going conditions. Parents can rest assured that when our students get sick, they're taken care of.
Keeping every student healthy is important to us
We run a preventative healthcare programme with the help of the Leuven University Health Centre. A School Doctor and Nurse from the Belgian health system visit our School once a week for medical check-ups. Parents are informed of these visits in advance and are always welcome to accompany their children.
Parents are given a medical questionnaire before their child joins BSB. Parents are always welcome to come in and see us to discuss any particular concerns.
Good mental health is as essential as physical health to our students' well-being. Our facilities include three dedicated counselling rooms staffed by our School Counsellors, who offer impartial, confidential advice to students and offer on-going support.
