PSHCE
A thorough education goes beyond academia. At BSB, we also ensure students become responsible adults. To create engaged, active, and socially aware young adults, we provide an exciting, engaging, and intellectually stimulating PSHCE (personal, social, health and citizenship) programme in the Secondary School.

Students are taught to question established paradigms, to think for themselves, and to understand the impact they’re able to make on the world. Students are taught to be globally aware and self aware, respectful, and to understand their role in the community, as well as learning all the necessary personal and health lessons young adults require as they’re growing up.
Teaching staff are dedicated and engaging, teaching a variety of issues in a lively and informal way. Students are equals at BSB, on first name terms with their teachers. This creates an informal but respectful environment that enables important messages to be delivered.
Curriculum
Students discuss important topics ranging from future careers to human rights, personal safety, and health issues, including sex, alcohol, and drugs. Students are taught positive attitudes and values – the most important being to think for themselves and independently make positive choices that will enhance their lives.
