Makatu family from South Africa

“I vividly recall the day I faxed through the application forms for the children and the professional way our arrival and settling-in was handled”

Welcome

As an International School with a diverse and inclusive vision, BSB aims to support our students and their families. We have wide ranging experience of helping families from all different cultures to integrate within the School community and make their own important contribution.

Parents are given assistance from the moment they decide to send their children to BSB. We offer advice, support, and can put families in touch with other BSB parents who speak your own language if that helps. Once you arrive, you’ll become part of our friendly and welcoming community.

Our active Friends of BSB (FoBSB) group allows parents to come together, socialise, and discuss matters relating to the School. It functions both as a social group and a support group, and gives parents the opportunity to volunteer at the School and become more involved in their children's education.

We are always on hand to help new arrivals, have a dedicated Parents’ Information Centre, and are experienced in helping new families settle in -- as an International School, we understand that families are often in the region for a limited time, or join the School at unusual times. Often, one parent is at home while the other parent is at work – this can be daunting in a foreign country. With BSB, you’re never alone. We offer dedicated support to parents and students, enabling people of all cultures to fully integrate and enjoy everything our community has to offer.
