The Organisation
The School is a not-for-profit association (vzw) under Belgian law.

BSB, an Independent School
Although the School is called a British School, BSB does not receive any support from either the UK government or any other government. We are an independent school, entirely self financing.

Curriculum
The School follows the National Curriculum for England, but also offers IB at Post-16.  We keep up-to-date with the UK educational developments but we are not responsible to any UK authority. We are educationally independent and free to follow the best educational practices. 

The BSB Association
The good health of the School is entrusted to the legal members of the Association.

BSB Leadership
The Association’s members elect a Board of Governors who are responsible for the strategic direction of the School.

Day to Day Operation of the School
The Board appoints a Principal who is also the Chief Executive and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the School.
