- 52% of the students are British
- 70 other nationalities are currently represented

What languages are taught, and from what age?
- French is taught from Year 1 (age 5) with the exception of students who require English as an Additional Language
- From Year 3, French is taught in sets according to ability
- In Year 7, students choose an additional language from the options of Spanish, German and Dutch

Tervuren Park, right next door to the School
- Many families live in Tervuren including Moorsel, Vossem and Duisburg or one of the villages/towns close to Tervuren, eg Everberg, Leefdaal, Overijse, Kraainem, Wezembeek-Oppem etc - click here for more details

Why is there no school uniform?
- In line with almost all schools in continental Europe, BSB does not have a School uniform. However, there is a School sports kit which all students must wear for sports from Year 3 onwards

What is the turnover of students?
- We have a turnover of 20-25% per year

Do all students eat in the Cafeteria?
- No - Lower Primary students (4-6 years of age) eat their packed lunches in their classrooms, with the exception of Year 2, who eat their packed lunches in the Tintin Hall
- Upper Primary and Secondary students eat in the Cafeteria (Upper Primary at the first sitting and Secondary at the second sitting) and may choose to purchase a meal or to bring a packed lunch
