Human Resources Administrator (60%)

Our curriculum is British based and uniquely adapted to the needs of our international and diverse student body. There is an Early Childhood Centre for children aged 1-3. Our Primary School offers a bespoke enquiry-based curriculum. Purpose of the role:

The Human Resources Administrator will provide all-round and effective administrative support to the HR Department and a high-level customer service to staff.

Responsible to: The HR Director

Key tasks:

  • Overall administrative support to the HR Department
  • Ensure the relevant databases are up to date and accurate
  • Administrative and logistical support of the recruitment process:
    • Send invitations, set up interviews and issue relevant recruitment administration
    • Make logistic arrangements for candidates such as hotel bookings, travel plans
    • Accommodate candidates on interview day.
  • Deliver the highest standard of customer service when dealing with HR enquiries either on the telephone or in person

The post holder may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job description for the post. The duties and responsibilities may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed.

Skills and knowledge:

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Good general IT skills
  • A high level of confidentiality with excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and in Dutch, both written and verbal.
  • The flexibility and willingness to learn and work on own initiative.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Previous HR experience and familiar with Belgian social legislation would be an asset
