We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our team. You need to be enthusiastic about engaging students in sport, promoting health and well-being, and fostering a love of physical activity.

Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of PE to join our growing team. The main responsibilities of the post will include:

  • teaching PE to students at both Primary and Secondary level
  • option of teaching GCSE / BTEC and IB experienced preferred by not essential
  • assisting with PE activities as required
  • assisting with the administration of the department
  • working as part of a cohesive departmental team and sharing fully in the work of the department

Qualifications:

  • A UK or Internationally recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • A bachelor’s degree in physical education, sport studies or a related field.

Experience:

  • Experience working in a British School, British International Schools or with the British curriculum.
  • QTS required but newly qualified welcome

Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of the subject/s being taught and the different needs of primary and secondary school students.
  • Effective classroom management with an ability to manage the class and resources effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students, as well as collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Competence in assessing student progress, using data to inform teaching, and providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs.
  • Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
